SSP converted into drinking water project: CAG
Ahmedabad, Apr 23 : The ambitious Sardar Sarovar Project (SSP) on the Narmada river in Gujarat has failed to achieve irrigation potential, observed the Comptroller and Auditor General of India saying the whole project was being converted from an irrigation project to a drinking water project.
