People living on the West Shore will soon experience a change in their drinking water. Beginning July 12th, Pennsylvania American Water will use chloramine, rather than chlorine to disinfect the water.
A contaminant previously found in Louisa’s drinking water has decreased to acceptable levels. However, the town will continue to monitor contaminant levels.
People in the Wellington region have been noticing that their drinking water has been smelling and tasting unusual over the last few days.
